This course is designed for individuals who work with Spanish-speaking employees or customers and wish to enhance their confidence, comfort, and fluency in conversational Spanish for everyday interactions. These classes will eliminate the tedious grammar lessons in other language programs. Each session will include cultural insights, and the workshop will be tailored to meet the specific needs and professions of the participants.   Course Objectives - Engage effectively in Spanish within your workplace. - Expand your active vocabulary by practicing conversations using authentic and mock materials. - Practice various scenarios relevant to the workplace. - Learn to ask for information needed to complete forms and documents. - Translate phrases, short texts, and questions between English and Spanish. - Enhance your cultural communication skills.

Stimulate your brain by learning a new language or building on your current foreign language skills at Upstate International! Learning a new language is a known way to enhance your ability to multitask, improve memory and communication skills, and upgrade your professional skills. It is also a way to enhance your travel experiences, broaden your global perspective, and open doors to you all around the world – globalization, right? Join UI on this journey! Regular classes meet once a week for a total of 75 minutes. Intensive classes meet twice a week for a total of 90 minutes. Students MUST BE members of UI in order to take a language class.
